She was predeceased by: her husband David Thomas Hughes; her sons, David Martin George Hughes and Bruce Gordon Hughes; her siblings, Anne McMullen, Constance Rondesvedt, Stanley and George Vowles; and her parents, Nina Vowles and Stanley Vowles.
She is survived by: her children, Nina (Jerry), Christina (Darryl), Corinne, Thomas (Dorothy) and Ingrid (Bradley); and her sisters, Susan White and Linda Vowles. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-two great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
