He was predeceased by: his brother Don McKay; his parents, Perl and Albert; his wife Jean Mary McKay (Beenham); and his grandchildren, Leanne and Jonathon.
He is survived by: his children, Gayle Cochlan (Larry), Susan Lawson (Dwight), Kathy Pears (Don), Alan McKay and Daniel McKay; and his sisters, Shirley Porter (Bill) and Bev (Dennis). He is also survived by his sixteen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
