Valentine Klassen Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Valentine Klassen (Abbotsford, British Columbia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 8, 2025 at the age of 98. In the vast expanse of eternity, Valentine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Valentine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Klippenstein and Katarina Klippenstein (Janzen). She is survived by: her sister-in-law Edith Klippenstein; and her nieces and nephews, Eduard (Liz), Erich (Judy), Edwin (Anni), Werner (Joan), Armin (Hilda) and Sophie (Mike). She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery (33965 Maclure Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2S7W3). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the King Road Church (32068 King Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2T5Z5).
