Sadly Sucha passed away in the early morning hours of December 23rd at Eden Place Home Care in Chilliwack. Sucha was born in Daulatpur, Punjab India where he then emigrated to Canada after his marriage to Ossie in 1952 to help his uncle Sunder Singh on his farm in Sumas Prarie (Abbotsford).
Sucha with his uncle Sunder Singh and Mohinder Kaur (known as Bossini) were very involved with the Gur Sikh Temple in Abbotsford contributing to the making of the front staircase and the nishaan sahib in 1957 which is now a historical site standing for over 100 years. Sucha was that of a philanthropist donating money to many charities, the temple and even had schools built in India.
He eventually went on to Edmonton to go to school for mechanics and started his own business from the ground up buying 2 trucks to create MSA Sawdust in the early 1960s.
Sucha is predeceased by his parents Kishan Singh and Chint Kaur; brothers Gurmit (Gurmeet), Gurbachan (Harbajan) and Mohinder (Jasbir) along with his younger sister Sarjit Kaur (Khushdev) and son in law Parmjit Singh.
He is survived by his wife Ossie of 72 years; children Gurdale (Manjit), Amarjete (Bimla), Darshan, Kartar, Paul, Sheila (Manjit) and Hardy; grandchildren Salina (Baljinder), Bill, Hari (Satty), Gurpreet (Gurpreet), Gary (Josephine), Harj, Debbie (Aman), Terry, Jessica (Dave), Zach, Kayla and Blair along with 8 loving great grandchildren. Sucha is also survived by many niece's and nephews.
