He was predeceased by: his son Charles Roy Kelln; his parents, Fred Kelln and Nellie Kelln; and his siblings, Emma Kelln Fast, Nellie Kelln Fast (David Fast), Fred Kelln (Betty), Bob Kelln (Kathie) and David Kelln.

He is survived by: his sister Katie Kelln Keyzer; his brother-in-law Jake Fast; his daughters, Teresa Saunders (Brant) and Lorelie Kelln (Daniel); his grandchildren, Dan Kelln, Tana (Shane), Thomas (Grace), Michaela (David) and Scott (Mazzie); and his great grandchildren, Shayla (Mitchell), Carson and Raelyne. He is also survived by numerous nieces, and nephews and their children.
