It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Petrus Joannes Warmerdam (Abbotsford, British Columbia), who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Margaret; his grandson William Browne; and his parents, John Warmerdam and Christina Warmerdam. He is survived by: his wife Elisabeth (Betty); and his children, Christine, Ellen (Bert), Linda (Larry), Gordon (Lynne), Margaret (Auguste), John, Nick (Elena) and Dorothy (Lud). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 2 great great-grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 8:00 PM at the St Ann's Catholic Church (33333 Mayfair Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2S3H7). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Maclure Road Mennonite Cemetery (33965 Maclure Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2S7W3).
