We bid farewell to Margaret Krause (Abbotsford, British Columbia), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 20, 2025 at the age of 93. Margaret touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Margaret may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jakob Rempel and Helena. She is survived by: her children, Erich (Gerda), Elsie Toews (David), Laurie Toews (Willie), Victor (Yvette), Walter (Shauna), Anita Wiebe (Tom) and Steven (Kristine); and her brother Henry Rempel. She is also survived by her eighteen grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Central Heights Church (1661 McCallum Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2S1B8). She loved spending time with them, always happy to go out for dinner with her kids, eagerly anticipating the large family Christmas celebrations and trips to Oroville, and continuing to join weekly Zoom calls with her children since the COVID lockdowns began in the Spring of 2020.
