With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Katharina Goossen (Abbotsford, British Columbia), who passed away on January 8, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Wieler and Helene Wieler; and her sisters, Anne and Helen. She is survived by: her siblings, Lydia Peters (Nick), Liz Klassen (Neil), Irm Giesbrecht (Pete) and Neil Wieler (Linda); her siblings-in-law, Peter Penner, Kay Redden (John), Linda Goossen and Laurie Goossen; her husband Jake Goossen; her sons, John, Len and Rick; her grandchildren, Rachel (Andrew), Bethany, Hannah, Tabitha (Sonny), Natalie, Lauren, Lucas, Claire, Brooke (Rob), Matthias (Kia), Neil (Amanda) and Kaylyn; and her great grandchildren, Asher, Ian, Elliot, Theo, Fionn, Ronan and Jacoba. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
