John Howell Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Howell (Abbotsford, British Columbia), who passed away on January 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Marie Anna; his parents, Tom Howell and Margaret Alice Howell; his brothers, Tom, Bert and Pete Howell; his stepfather Lawson McFarlane; his son Tom Howell; his children-in-law, Earl Porter and Kim Howell; and his grandson-in-law Jay Bartling.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Howell (Heather), John Howell, Cat Peters (Wes), Terrie Porter and Loretta Hilton (Greg); his grandchildren, Lauren, Matthew, Cole, Chad, Cale, Riley, Rae-Marie and Grant; his great grandchildren, Emma, Taylor, Brooke, Chase, Hudson and Avery; his sister Marian Panzer; and his nieces, Sandra and Tougie.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Ann's Catholic Church (33333 Mayfair Ave, Abbotsford, BC V2S3H7).
Donations are welcome to Alzheimer's Society or St Vincent De Paul in lieu of flowers.
