Elsie Stanko Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elsie Stanko (Abbotsford, British Columbia), born in Lethbridge, Alberta, who passed away on March 10, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Elsie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Elsie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Elsie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Siebert and Peter Siebert. She is survived by: her children, Charmaine (Ronald), Craig and Christopher (Anna). She is also survived by siblings and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the South Abbotsford Church (32424 Huntingdon Rd, Abbotsford, BC V2T5Z1).
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in memory of Elsie to Alzheimers' Society of BC; Diabetes Canada or Heart and Soul (dog and cat rescue).
