He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Funk and Maria Funk; his wife Agnes (Rempel); and his siblings, Peter, Jack, Henry, Erma (Froese) and Betty (Johnson).
He is survived by: his sister Annie Funk; and his children, Irma Driediger, Wil Driediger, Charlotte Dyck, Richard Van Dyck, Robert Funk, Irene Funk, David Funk, Shirley Funk, Paul Funk, Cheryl Funk, Tony Funk and Marlene Funk. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
