He was predeceased by: his father Ken; and his brother Wendell. He is survived by: his children, Robert Johnston (Beverly), Tara-Lee Johnston and Michelle Wilson; his friend Eleanor; his mother Irene Johnston; and his siblings, Riley Johnston (Debbie), Brian Johnston (Margaret), Kevin Johnston (Jessica), Lorelee Darby (Darryl), Linnette Abbott (Tony) and Terri Coulas (Paul). He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family.
