He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest and Clarice; and his brothers, Parker, Vance, Raye, Lloyd and Wayne.

He is survived by: his wife Grace; his children, Chantale Leblanc of Moncton, NB, Candace Hamrin (James) of Whitecourt, AB, Ashley Rose (Stephen) of Whitecourt, AB, Karlee Zemp (Kyle Wick) of Cochrane, AB, Chase Buote (Tanya Schade) of Edmonton, AB and Kyle Zemp (Shelby Espenant) of Whitecourt, AB; his grandchildren, Austin, Alyssa, Karter, Ayla, Kruz, Elliot and Maverick; his siblings, Vernon (Marion), Faren (Helen), Selwyn (Dottie), Trevor (Shirley), Vera (Doug), Geraldine (Pete), Beryl (Bernie) and Rowena (Mike); his parents-in-law, Frank Miller and Teresa Miller; and his siblings-in-law, Frankie (Lynda), Lise, Josie (Brad) and Linda (Craig). He is also survived by relatives and friends.
