Elizabeth Matviw Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth Matviw (Whitecourt, Alberta), who passed away on August 25, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael; her sisters, Olga Semotiuk (Steve) and Lucille Serediak (Lawrence); and her children-in-law, Tom Saik, Jim Morris and Sue Matviw.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Lesiuk; her children, Mildred Saik, Barbara Morris (Joe Moyneur) and David Matviw (Georgina Tweed); her grandchildren, Shawn Saik (Sharmen), Sharla Edwards (Greg), Nicole Dodds (Danny), Jennifer Powley, Andrea and Kevin Matviw; and her great grandchildren, Delayne, Jaden Saik, Micaela, Tyson Ilnicki, Myah Edwards, Madelyn and Elyse Dodds. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid the family encourages attendees to wear masks to the service.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations may be made to the "MS Society" or to a charity of one's choice.
