She was predeceased by: her parents, Anne Olde-Huvel and Herman Olde-Huvel; her stepfather John; her sister Adelle; and her nephew Eric.

She is survived by: her husband Leon Gano; her children, Robb Bourque (Robyn), Bonnie Gano, Jolene Gano (Cory Poitras), Duane Gano (Kayle Ward) and Jamie Marin; her grandchildren, David, Brandon, Jordan, Hailey, Kaleah, Mackenzie, Myah, Lily, Savannah and Gage; and her brothers, Ben (Marie), Herman and Jack Olde-Huvel.
