Alex John Chiasson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alex John Chiasson (Whitecourt, Alberta), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 19, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Chiasson and Joseph Chiasson; and his siblings, Wilfred, Anna, Lenus, Pauline, Monique and Roderick.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Hofbauer; his children, Andrea (Rick) and Basil (Joanna); his grandchildren, Isabella, Atticus and Ida; and his siblings, Jeanne, Clem, Marie and Helena.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Josephs Catholic Church (5538 Mink Creek Rd, Whitecourt, AB T7S1M9).
In lieu of flowers a donation in Alex's name can be made to the Wellspring Family Resource & Crisis Centre (Wellspring Women's shelter) in Whitecourt.
