He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; his siblings, Marjorie Sharegan, Dorothy Offer and Gordon Gibson; his parents, Robert Gibson and Hattie Gibson (Cross); his stepmother Louise Gibson; and his half-sister Louise Gunderson (Gibson).
He is survived by: his daughter Judy Brock (Gibson); his stepchildren, David Cross (Sally), Ruth Preheim (Jerry), John Cross (Janice) and Peter Cross; and his stepgrandchildren, Rebecca Preheim, David Preheim, Bethany Jones (Jeb), Andrew Cross, Naomi Johnstone (Troy) and Phoenix Roznicki (Nick). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Ebenezer Baptist Church (4730 51 Ave, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A0T5).
