Velma Stengel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Stengel of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, who passed away on March 9, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Adolph; her son Gary; her parents, Samuel and Paulina; her son-in-law Robert Coxford; and her siblings, Alex, Ed, Herman, Emil, Carl, Martha, Gussie, Dan, Lydia, Bertha and Christina.
She is survived by: her daughter Gayle; her daughter-in-law Angela; her grandchildren, Jon, Nathan (Karen), Timothy (Lindsay), Ashley (Nick) and Matthew; her great grandchildren, Finn and Charlie; and her siblings-in-law, Art, Margaret and Evelyn. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Velma may be made to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home (4702 Northmount Drive, Wetaskiwin, Alberta. T9A 3T3).
