With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Valerie Ann Thornhill of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, who passed away on October 6, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cake and Amelia Cake (Martin); her stepmother Hilda; and her brothers-in-law, Edgar Lovell and Howard Thornhill.
She is survived by: her husband Arthur; her son Bruce (Joanne); her grandchildren, Kyle and Amelia (Janelle); her daughter Pamela Kwan (Kwok); her grandchildren, Shen and Grace; her siblings, Daphne, Millie (Seymour), Rod (Jessie), Bob (Susan) and Jeff; her stepsiblings, Rita (Herb), Loretta (Ralph) and Chesley; and her siblings-in-law, Roeann (Aubrey) and Larry (Sandy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
