He was predeceased by: his children, Jerry and Janet; his parents, Mathew Kijewski and Helena Kijewski; his siblings, Stella Bigelow, Anne Cross, Irene Ness, Cecil, Stan, Joseph, Henry and Harold; and his siblings-in-law, Sid Bigelow, Ralph Cross, Don Ness, Bob Beaver, Lynn Kijewski and Doreen Kijewski.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his daughters, Karen (Randy), Bonnie (Kerry) and Teresa (Barry); his sister Marion; and his sisters-in-law, Fern and Gloria. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Chapel (5302 50 Ave, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A0T1).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wetaskiwin Medi Lend Society (c/o 135 Spatinow Drive, Wetaskiwin, Alberta, T9A 1W3).
