She was predeceased by : her parents, Ron McNabb and Freda McNabb (Cherniak); her brother Keith McNabb; and her husband Al Dakin. She is survived by : her children, Eugene Dakin (Kathryn) and Karen Hansen; her grandchildren, Amber Knull, James Dakin, Sarah Dakin, Kristopher Pawloske, Austin Hansen (Mackenzie) and Ruben Hansen; her great grandchild Lauren Knull; her sister Sheila (Evan) Thomas, her brother Kevin McNabb; and her sister-in-law Charlene McNabb. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to an animal rescue agency of your choice.
