He was predeceased by: his parents, Dundas Murchie and Phoebe Murchie; his former wife Laura; and his son John. He is survived by: his son Mike (Ala); his grandchildren, Veronica and Michael; and his wife Marie. He is also survived by his siblings, and many other relatives and friends.
