He was predeceased by: his mother Marilyn Hartnell; and his parents-in-law, Evelyn and Thomas Stangowitz. He is survived by: his children, Bobby, Rayvin and Keely; his father Bob; his brother Corey; his nephew Cayden; and his nieces, Mya and Adrianna.

Due to the restrictions placed by Alberta Health during the Covid pandemic, a celebration of Rob's life will be held at a later date.
