He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kelm and Amilia Kelm; his siblings, Ewalt, Walter and Helina Weins; his daughter Rhonda Forth; his nephew Daniel Crough; his niece Shelly Fink; and his great-nephew Graham Crough.

He is survived by: his wife Winnifred "Winnie"; his son Murray Kelm; his grandchildren, Jason (Charity), Ryan, Stacey and Jenna (Jon); his great grandchildren, Logan, Lane, Landon, Ashton, Dallas, Olivia and Everly; his sister Aldina Crough; and his nieces and nephews, Calleen, Teresa, Floyd Crough, Everett Crough and Ed Kalm.
