He was predeceased by: his parents, Jewell Witt and Ernestine Witt; his siblings, Elmer, Gordon and Betty; and his siblings-in-law, Mel Scott, Helen Witt and Joyce Witt.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Mark Witt (Terri) of Wetaskiwin and Arleen McCloskey (Garry) of Edmonton; and his sister Rita Evans of Oakville, Ontario. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
