She was predeceased by: her parents, Bella Potts and George Potts; her siblings, Joe, Allan, Melvin, Lorne Potts, Doris and Janet Potts; her son Sheldon Potts; her grandson Montana First Nation Gym; and her brothers, Archie Steinhauer (Verna), Henry Rain (Bernice) and Andy of Saskatchewan.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Starr; her children, Alex Potts (Tina Cardinal), Clainia Potts (Norm Funnell) and Daina Warren; her adoptive sons, Garnet Potts and Kristopher Potts (Raylene Mackinaw); and her sister Evelyn Saddleback. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
