He was predeceased by: his parents, Gottlieb and Florentina; and his siblings, Henry, Leonard, Edward, Rose Hagel and Anne McKay.

He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Trevor Moch and Kari Johnson; his grandchildren, Noah Johnson, Sarah Johnson (Garett Kraft) and Savannah Johnson (Joshua Fletcher); his great grandchildren, Sophia and Isla; his siblings, Reuben Moch (Lorraine), Freida Hoffman (Lawrence) and Irene Weinberger; and his friend Jack Liebig (Jeanne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation or Stars Air Ambulance.
