It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Murray George Elder (Wetaskiwin, Alberta), who passed away on January 20, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Staunton Elder and Ruth Elder; his parents-in-law, Ray and Martha Luoma; his sister Darlene; his brother-in-law Armin Illenseer; and his brother Robert Elder.

He is survived by: his wife Goldie; his son Darcy (Tammy); his grandchildren, Madison and Mason; his daughter Tracy Posein (Trevor); his granddaughters, Taylor and Tiana; his siblings, Jeane Gustin, Joanne Kroening (Bernard), Ron Elder (Ethel) and Colleen Churchill (Gordon); and his niece Valerie Weins. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
