Laverne was predeceased by: husband Patrick O'Connor; son Dwayne; and sisters, Merna (Daren) and Iris. Laverne is survived by: daughters, Diane Huculak (Gary) and Sherryl O'Connor (Glen Hansen); grandchildren, Jeff, Jaysen Huculak (Meagan), Lucas (Dierdre) and Keltie Hansen (Chris); great grandchildren, Ceilidh, Caleb, Claire Huculak and Benjamin Hansen; and siblings, June Ranks and Gary Grover (Linda). Laverne is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

Donations in Laverne's memory are gratefully accepted to the Battle Lake Community Baptist Church (Missions Program), (Box 20, Site 12, RR 1 Westerose, Alberta, Canada, T0C 2V0).
