It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Wolcott Novotny of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley; his parents, John and Dorothy; his sisters, Ona Mae (Doug), Jean and Mary Jo; his great grandchild Austin; and his siblings-in-law, Deanna and Andy.
He is survived by: his children, Terry (Tony), Trent (Lisa), Todd (Wendy) and Troy; his grandchildren, Kelsey (Jason), Corey, Kyle, Cole, Ethan, Chelsey (Nick), McKenzie (Cole), Chase, Lindy and Robbie; his great grandchildren, Isabel, Aubrey and Brixley; and his siblings-in-law, Carole Lee, Harley Astner and Mike Kliparchuk. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
