He was predeceased by: his wife Edna; his parents, John Annas and Pauline Annas; and his brothers, Rudy, Nelson and Gus.

He is survived by: his children, Geraldine Johnson (Barry), Karen Wright (Forrest), Shelley Klinger (Doug) and Douglas Annas (Michelle); his grandchildren, Heather, Michael (Samantha), Kyla (Jeff), Kristyn, Stuart (Shawna), Christopher (Nicole) and Caitlyn (Zack); and his siblings, Martha Robinson (Emerson) and Charlie Annas (Frenchy). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
