Jean Barnes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Barnes of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, who passed away on March 13, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aiden Wagar and Margaret Wagar; her husband Robert Barnes; and her siblings, June Juel, Olav Juel, Harvey Butz, William (Kay Barnes), Ian (Evelyn Barnes) and Andrew Barnes.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Robert, Doug Mackay (Leah), Tyrell, Daniel and Calista Perison; her stepgreat-granddaughter Emma; her brothers, Joe Wagar and Albert; and her sister-in-law Loretta Barnes. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
