She was predeceased by: her husband Louis Dumont; her parents, Helmut Sonnenberg and Elsie Sonnenberg; and her stepmother Hilde Sonnenberg. She is survived by: her children, Tammy Bennett, Louis Dumont (Hayley), Holly Dumont and Lacey Gregory (Richard); her grandchildren, Ayden Bennett, Camille, Jacques Dumont and Vaughn Gregory; and her siblings, Gorden Sonnenberg (Loretta), Lil Sonnenberg and Dale Schroeder (Kevin). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and many friends.
