He was predeceased by: his wife Beth; his grandson Patrick; his siblings, James, Margaret, Gerrard, Howard, Joan, Elizabeth and Douglas; his nephew Laurie; and his niece Barbara.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Mason (Lucie), Laura Mason, Kim Clarke (Eric), Joann Murphy (Wayne), Jane Mason (Doug Mikalson) and Hugh Mason; his grandchildren, Gabrielle Betts (Kent), Sean Murphy (Natalie), Liam Murphy (Zoey Liu), Owen Mason (Jennifer), Bailie Mason, Ian Mason and Caileigh Mikalson; and his great grandchildren, Nash, Harper, Aubre and River. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
