He was predeceased by: his parents, Adolf and Ida; his daughter Leanne; his sister Doris; and his nephews, Lonnie and Dwayne.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie; and his children, Shane (Martha), Elana (Greg), Shauna (Trent) and Shannon (Kandyce). He is also survived by grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three brothers; two sisters; two sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law.
