He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank and Nellie; his sister Helen Stoyka; his stepfather Mike Skaskiw; and his grandchildren, Amber Buffalo, Shane Yellowbird, Raven Buffalo and Katherine Buffalo.
He is survived by: his wife Emily; his children, Sharon, Colleen, Myrna (Irving), Mitch (Marlene), Kevin (Holdie) and Shelly (Kevin); his sisters, Christine (Lorne) and Linda (Dave); his sister-in-law Marge Anderson; his aunts, Adele Garson and Bernice Mackowetsky; and his brother Najib Krameddine (Liala). He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren, ten great-great-grandchildren.
A prayer was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Baker Funeral Chapel (5302 50 Ave, Wetaskiwin, AB T9A0T1). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Basil the Great Ukrainian Catholic Parish (7007 109 St NW, Edmonton, AB T6H3B9).
