He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Cutknife and Mariam Cutknife; his siblings, Richard, Leroy, Cecil, Clarence and Linda; his grandparents, William, Annie Cutknife, Joseph, Maggie Yellowbird, Delia Yellowbird and Patricia Yellowbird; his close friend Floyd Lightning; his niece Eileen Rattlesnake; and his grandchildren, Matthew Rattlesnake and Lyla Rattlesnake.

He is survived by: his sisters, Margaret Cutknife of Christine Cutknife and Connie Yellowbird (Effrem Saddleback); his son Cameron Rattlesnake; and his brother Terry Redcrow (Stephanie Saddleback). He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, numerous extended family members and many friends.
