Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Evelyn Henke (Wetaskiwin, Alberta), born in Bruce, Alberta, who passed away at the age of 97, on October 21, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Minchau and Elsie Minchau; her husband Alvin; her son Gary; and her siblings, Reuben Minchau, Mabel Henke and Alice Gibbs.

She is survived by: her children, Joan Stone (Neil) and Ronald Henke (Donna); her grandchildren, Michelle Finnigan (Jason), Michael Henke (Chelsea), Nathan Stone (Lynn), Darren Stone (Beth), Brent Henke (Jenna) and Paula Henke; her great grandchildren, Logan, Kassidy, Brooklynn, Quintin, Kip and Wyatt; and her siblings, Violet Bretin, Marlene Herbrik and Edwin Minchau. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations in Evelyn's memory are gratefully accepted to Zion Lutheran Church Wetaskiwin, the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation - Palliative Care, or to the charity of one's choice.
