He was predeceased by: his son Richard; his parents, Michael Lorentz and Pauline Lorentz; and his siblings, Lewie of Norman and Selma Hirsekorn.
He is survived by: his wife Marian Lorentz; his children, Kathy Donkin (Mark) and Randy Lorentz (Sandy); his grandchildren, Krystina Clark (Dave), Stephanie Meadows (Kerri), Amanda Collier (Ty) and K. C. Lorentz (Justene); his great grandchildren, Barrett Clark, Mackenzie Clark, Charlie Meadows, Alexus Collier and Mckenna Collier; his sister Elsie Assenheimer of Elnice Kreutz; and his sister-in-law Eleanor Lorentz.
In Lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wetaskiwin Health Foundation - Recreation Therapy or the Lutheran Hour Ministries.
