It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doreen Mae Strohschein of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, who passed away on October 24, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon Strohschein; and her parents, Henry Nelson and Minnie Nelson (Bergquist). She is survived by: her children, Sharon Gair (Bruce), Joyce Breitkreuz (Gilbert), Margo Ziolkowski (Warren), Earl Strohschein (Sharon) and Chad Strohschein (Heidi); her sister Donna McLeod (Don); and her sister-in-law Gladys Dickau (Leroy). She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
