Byard Holesworth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Byard Holesworth (Wetaskiwin, Alberta), born in Stewiacke, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 20, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fenton Holesworth and Edith Holesworth; his siblings, Evelyn, Jack and Harold; his parents-in-law, Adelard and Medora Drysdelle; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Willard, Terry Thomson, Clarence Drisdelle, Jim Kennedy and Diane Thomson.
He is survived by: his wife Dorina Holesworth (Doreen); his children, Steve Holesworth (Nan Harrison) of Calgary and Edith Holesworth (Joe Ruether) of Peace River; his grandsons, Kyle and Noah Ruether; his sisters-in-law, Leona, Geraldine (Darryl), Marieanne (Daniel), Barbara Chris (Roland) and Loretta; and his godchildren, Doris, Cory and Matthew. He is also survived by one aunt, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces/nephews, cousins and friends.
Donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Alberta and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date, with updates appearing on the Baker Funeral Chapel website.
