Alfred Porat Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 8, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Alfred Porat (Wetaskiwin, Alberta). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Myrtle; his sons, Randy and Rod; his son-in-law Hugo of Vries; his siblings, Adolf, Emma, Olga, Selma, Judy, Elsa, Verna, Ann, Martha and Adele; his parents, Edward Porat and Olga Porat; and his sister-in-law Barbara Porat.

He is survived by: his children, Rick Porat (Judy) of Camrose and Becky of Vries; his grandchildren, Greg, Angela (Tim), Melinda (Jeff), Kelsie (Chad), Kayleigh Porat and Sharene of Vries; his great grandchildren, Raelyn, Aiden, Sydnie, Alice and Avery; and his brother Ed Porat (Yvonne Adair). He is also survived by numerous relatives and friends.

Alfred stayed farming until 2017 when, due to Alzheimer's he would leave the farm and move into Madyson Manor for just under 2 years.
