He was predeceased by: his parents, John Olson and Hilma Olson (Ellen); his sons, Patrick and Jerry; and his grandsons, Shawn Roy and Jeffrey.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ella, Esther, Andrew, Karl and John; and his daughters, Linda Wanke (Ervin), Brenda Podolski (John) and Marie Gerow (Peggy).
