He was predeceased by: his siblings, William and Eve; and his parents, William and Coralie. He is survived by: his wife Frieda; his children, Rick (Rose), Waylon, Gabriel (Maddy), Darrell, Holly, Trina (Phil), Tanya (Robin) and Sarah (Jayce); and his siblings, Don (Doreen) and Neva Stout. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
