He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Desranleau and Jeanette Desranlea; and his father-in-law Roger Duperron. He is survived by: his wife Roseanna Duperron; his children, Jodi Anderson (Dave), Kristen Desranleau (Rasheed Ali), Dwyght Duperron (James Eherer) and Nadine Duperron (Lee Sidoroff); his grandchildren, William, Jayna, Maliyah and Elijah; his pet Buddha Bear; and his siblings, David Desranleau (Faye), Denis Desranleau (Anita), Marcel Desranleau (Denise), Lorraine Boulerice (Paul), Brenda Desranleau, Mark Desranleau (Barb), Linda Strangway (Kevin), Maryann Leriger (Ralph), Tim Desranleau (Diane), Wayne Desranleau (Shelly Montgomery), Roseanna Sheehan (Terry), Gerry Desranleau (Noelle) and Susanne Geiger (Bruce). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
