It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter Smerychynski (Westlock, Alberta), who passed away on February 7, 2019, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Henrietta; his siblings, Walter, Sylvester, Alexandra Haug and Jean Smok; his brothers-in-law, Charles Wawzonek and Ernie Haug; his grandson Dennis Blair Borduzak; and his sister-in-law Doreen Wawzonek.
He is survived by: his children, Herb Smerychynski (Barb), Pat Borduzak (Dennis), Bonny Properzi (Carmen) and Peter Smerychynski (Teri); and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Smok, Steve Wawzonek (Lillian), Ed Wawzonek (Beverly), Irene Smerychynski and Kay Smerychynski. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
