She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Ross; her children, Chad (Gail) of Thorhild, AB, Beau (Crissy) of Thorhild, AB and Troy (Amanda) of Sherwood Park, AB; her grandchildren, Denver, Willow, Cash and Piper; her father Jerry Smok of Waugh; her sister Cindy Smok of Airdrie, AB; and her mother Jean Smok (Baba). She was also cherished by other relatives and many friends.

In lieu of flowers donations gratefully accepted to Thorhild Central School in honor of Penny.
