She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon; and her parents, Roy Thompson and Margaret Thompson. She is survived by: her children, Janice Piontkowski (Arnold), Wayne Meakin (Linda), Pam Gonnet (Peter), Wade Meakin (Sherry) and Norine Schuster (Ken); her brother Neil Thompson (Joyce); her sister-in-law Joan Gillard; her brother Syd; and her siblings-in-law, Anna Meakin, Lou Meakin, Bob Gillard and Stuart Meakin. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren.
