He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand Rode and Milande Rode; and his sisters, Lydia and Toni. He is survived by: his wife Colleen; and his siblings, Irma (Helmut), Erma Harke and Erich. He is also survived by his two children; his caring in-laws, friends.
