He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; his parents, Colin and Etta; and his siblings, Kieth, Kenneth and Olive.

He is survived by: his daughters, Evelyn (Danny), Violet (Alan) and Sylvia; his grandchildren, Julie (Jesse), Jennifer (Martin), Michael (Jessica) and Shane; and his great grandchildren, Clara and Ivy.
